After a brief respite, Winter came back for a bit. We got a round of snow... not a lot, but if you listened to the folks on the radio, it was a HUGE deal!

Our Neighborhood
I REALLY like the way things look with a layer of snow! Until I moved here, I didn't realize how much Imissed it... I grew up with this sort of weather back in Maine.

Heading down the hill
To get ouf of our neighborhood, we have to drive down a steep hill. The ediquette is to sit on top of the hill and wait for the guy in front of you. Several times last year, cars slid down and crashed into - and through - the barrier. The lucky ones miss the barrier and slide into the yard of the poor family that lives below.

Down by the Highway
There was a bit less snow down near the highway, which is a few hundred feet lower.

On the Interstate
The WSDOThadn't kept up with the snow, but it wasn't bad, anyway... they'd done a good job at prepping the roads with deicer, and it wasn't much of a problem -- unless you listened to the radio, of course.

Parked at MS
The commute I have is short enough that the snow hadn't melted off the Mariner. There wasn't any snow down in Issaquah... we'd dropped down below the snowline.
