The embarrassing thing about my Jeep is that I couldn't drive it when it got cold and snowy -- it was literally frozen up. My Speedometer cable has been loose for a while, and apparently that, and some breather caps, are letting water get in the Transmission, and it froze up when it got cold, and I could not shift it out of gear, and the engine would just bog down instead of breaking it free. As soon as it got warm, I brought it down for an oil change

Long line
I wasn't the only one with the idea. The flooding from the last few days gave everyone a reason to bring your vehicle in... besides, Jiffy Lube was giving a 'Flood Discount'... 50% off for Transmission flushes!

Flame in the Bay
My Jeep is older than everyone who was working there... its not often that something from the 'Old School' comes in, that's for sure!

Not too shabby
The Engine is in pretty good shape... especially for how old the Jeep is. It needs a tune up, but it runs pretty well.

Checking out older technology
The manager hauled a couple of his guys down there to get some training... they don't get too many unsealed chassis anymore!

Not the typical vehicle
They had trouble finding some stuff -- its a manual transmission, and they had to dig out some parts they don't use very often

Draining the oil
I got the transmission flush, then drove it a couple of miles with some cleaner and absorbant in the oil, and then returned to the bay, and they drained it again. It runs a lot better now, that's for sure!
