Driving down to the
church, there wasn't much of a hint of the approaching
blizzard...

I did notice the wind picking
up while leaving the church... it was pretty cool-looking!

While doing the final rounds
for lockup, there was only a bit of snow... no real wind.

Sunday Morning, we noticed
that we'd lost power for a bout 2-3 hours... but it was back
on. It was hard to tell how much snow we'd gotten,
because it was blown around in the wind. We had a
sizable drift in the driveway... you couldn't tell I'd
shoveled at all.

I went to the church to drop
off the computer for the slides, but no one was there... I
called the pastor, and he let me know that he'd called the
first service, and suggested I drop off the computer as his
place... he had a big drift out front of his house...

When we DID have church, we
did an impromptu play -- the cast didn't snow up for the
"Christmas Gig" we'd had planned, so we made up one real
quick with the kids who DID make it.

It was a lot of fun...

Down in North Bend, the roads
were pretty good... I did notice the stop light had twisted
a bit... the red light was fine, but the others were rotated
about 45 degrees or so... I guess the wind was the culprit.

The road heading up to our
house, about 600 feet above North Bend, was pretty good...
the guys who plow the roads do a good job around here.
