Mt Si is a very prominent feature around town... you can see it from nearly everywhere.  On a sunny day, especially when it has snow, it makes for a very pleasing back-drop!  What a great place to be from!

I visited with a friend of mine from church.  We were both off of work, so we decided to make a day of it.  It was a very nice day, and since he lives fairly close to the base of Mt Si, I got a view that I don't see very often.

The view from his house was pretty striking!

Especially when the sun started to go down...

"Alpenglow", its called.  Its pretty impressive.
