Here it comes... It'd been
cold for a couple days before it snowed, so it didn't have
any trouble sticking.
I wend down to the store to
make sure we had enough milk for the little guy just in case
we got as bad a storm as they'd predicted. We didn't,
but its better to be safe than sorry.
The next morning, the Ridge
was looking awesome! Just a few hundred feet higher
than us, the trees were heavily laden with snow... it makes
for a pretty impressive view!
Not bad for the first storm of
the season...
After it stopped... it got
COLD. It came down as wet snow, but before too long,
it hardened into a decent crusty snow.
The yard looks so much better
with a layer of snow on it... I think, anyway! I
really like snowy trees!
Well,
11 days after it happened last year, we got our first real
snow of the season... it was touted as a "Terrible Storm",
but it wasn't all that bad in the end.
