Mt Si looked nice shrouded in
low clouds that were drifting up and through the pass...
there was a light rain going on... which I always enjoy...
fall always reminds me of why I moved here... I LOVE the
weather!

The drive to Monroe was quite pleasant. It ended up
being a very nice Sunday drive.

It rains a LOT here in the PNW, but normally, it comes
slowly, over periods of weeks. Recently, however,
we've been getting dumped on, to the tune of 2-3 inches a
day in some areas... the rivers aren't able to move that
much water in the valleys, and it showed.

This area was REALLY flooded! The river normally
runs by the line of trees...

Monroe was its usual busy self... I don't think I've ever
been there when it was quiet.

The show was at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, which
hosts a variety of these types of shows... a Swap Meet was
going on in another of the buildings on the grounds.

A Snohomish County Deputy was at the door to the show.
You're not supposed to bring cameras, so I don't have
pictures of the inside of the show. It was the little
guy's first show... he enjoyed the activity, and all the
people, and of course, he worked his magic making people
smile! He also caught on to my "ooooh!" pretty quick,
too... =]

What a trooper The Shadow Lady is! While I was
wheeling and dealing, she walked around with the little
guy... and even seemed to have a good time... yep, I'm
a lucky guy! =]
