The Shadow Lady's youngest sister completed another orbit of the Sun recently, so we went out to celebrate.

The tradition is that we go out to eat where the birthday person wants to, so we went to Kingfish Cafe, in the Capital Hill area of Seattle.

It was a great time spent with family, which is always a good thing!

 

 

 

The Kingfish is one of those places that is off the beaten path a bit, but worth the effort to go there!  Good food, great people running it, and very reasonably priced.  A great combination -- especially in Seattle.

Before we were seated, we spent some time catching up on everyone.

The little guy enjoyed Cheerios before the food go there.  We had "Brunch", and I got grits and chicken and gravy, which was AWESOME!  I shared mine with the little guy, who liked it as much as I did.

I thought the sign behind them was pretty funny, so I snapped a pic of it as we were leaving.

We had a good time visiting, and the good was great, and we had the opportunity to celebrate another year... a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, I think!
