Our ticket packet has most of the games on Friday and
Saturday, which makes it nice... they're not doing all that
well this year, but that's OK... its Baseball, so its still
fun!
We got to the stadium about 45 minutes before the game... in
2001, we would have had to have parked quite a few blocks
away, but this season, it was easy to find a place in the
garage right across the street from the stadium.

 |
As usual, we were nearly the only people in our section...
it makes ordering a hot dog pretty easy!
They opened the roof just before the game started.
|
    |
About 15 minutes before game time, the crowd REALLY packed
in!
It was Spanish Heritage night, and they had a presentation
of dancers before the game.

I'm glad that he seems to genuinely have fun at the games...
=]
In the third inning, it started raining, and they closed the
roof again.

It sure looks different with the roof overhead! Its
louder, which is nice, because there weren't a whole lot of
people there. Even the "filled" sections only had
2/3's of the seats taken...
We stayed till the 7th inning stretch, then left after
"Louie, Louie", Safeco Field's rip-off of Fenway's "Sweet
Caroline".
We listened to the rest of the game on the way home...
luckily, its more about the time out as a family than it is
watching them win! =]
