A friend of mine from church went with me to a baseball
game. It was a nice Spring Saturday, warm, no
breeze... a GREAT day for baseball!It was the second game
of the season for us, and the second game the little guy has
been to.
The M's are firmly in last place, and a lot of the fans
have already given up this year, it seems... on a Saturday
Game with nice weather, the stadium MAYBE had 15,000 people
in it.

I let the Shadow Lady have the night "off"... and made it a
"guys night out". :-) It was a LOT of fun!I
let him suck on a pickle that came with my Hot Dog...
He loved it! Once the 'guts' were stripped out, then he sort
of lost interest, and I gave him a bottle I'd brought with
me.

The little guy watched some of the game, but mostly watched
the crowd's reactions... but he was laughing and smiling at
anyone who would look his way, and he seemed to have a
pretty good time.
The Mariners ended up winning the game, even... scoring
one run on a dramatic race from second... the ball was cut
off, allowing the runner to easily score, but it looked like
it was going to be a lot closer than that at first!
In all, I had a great time, and its likely something I'll
do again before the season is over! :-)
