I guess March wasn't done with us... on the 30th, we got a
good 6 inches of snow... then, on the morning of the 31st,
we got another 5-6! They're saying the snow ends with
the month of March... we'll see, eh? :-)The snow on
the 30th was a surprise... it wasn't supposed to get cold
enough, according to the NWS... so I shoveled 5 inches of
"late night showers"... again.

Not long after I'd started, the snow started falling
again... and by the time I was done, it was falling hard
enough to put a layer of snow on the ground again...
It really gave the neighborhood a nice look to it...
there's nothing like fresh snow!
I also noticed that the paper delivery person was late
with the paper... :)

The snow hung around for the day, and then as night fell on
us, so did more snow... by morning, it had stacked up to
another 6 inches, along with some freezing rain... the roads
were pretty slick.

The rain made the snow a bit heavy, but much easier to
shovel, and before too long, I'd cleaned up the driveway
again.
There was a loud buzzing noise coming out of the transformer
that fed the 4 houses it was near, mine included. It
seems ok... but the noise was a bit odd... maybe it was just
so quiet that I heard it louder than I normally would have.

When the sun came up, the neighborhood lit up under the
blanket of New Snow. It was pretty striking!So...
is THIS the last blast of Winter???
I guess time will tell, but according to the news, things
will start warming up after this... but of course they've
said that before. :)
