I went down to visit with friends for lunch in Bellevue...
It'd been a while since I'd done that, so I figured today
was as good as any other day...
Right after I left, I realized that I left my camera on
the ledge by the stairs, right where I left it so I wouldn't
forget it. :-) So, I used my phone...
It was snowing lightly when I left... and it seemed to
follow me down out of the foothills...

 |
It was good to see the ol' tower again... although the city
of Bellevue sure has changed!
Don showed me a chart that said there were 15 major tower
projects going on in Bellevue at once...
One I was there, the little guy, of course, was the star
of the show!

  |
Paul, my old boss, heard me talking, and came over to check
out the little one... "He's just like his dad - always
smiling!" I guess I smile a lot, too... :)He was
heading to a meeting, but said I should swing by and check
out a picture of his granddaughter... I did, and while doing
that, I noticed that they STILL haven't finished the
"Migration to XP"... :-)
While I was there, he attracted more visitors... :-)
He watched and smiled, and had a great time getting all the
attention!

It was odd seeing the snow along with the flowers...
It doesn't snow often in the lowlands near the Puget
Sound... and its even more rare at the end of March!
It was warmer on December 28, than it was March 28!
The buildings in the background, only a block or so away,
were about blotted out from the falling snow...
|
  |
Driving back, I noticed they were tearing down a building...
I guess this is one of the 15 projects... or maybe a 16th!
There's construction all over the city!Once on the
highway, it was SLOW going... a snowflake actually had hit
the ground, and everyone who could was heading home "before
it gets much worse"... of course, no one knows how to drive
"in the snow" (it wasn't slippery on the roads at all, but
folks around here panic when the snow flies) so the cars
were crawling along at a snails pace.
On the radio, they described several accidents, luckily
none of them were in the direction I was heading.

Near Issaquah, about half way home, it was snowing at a
pretty respectable rate... that's not fog... its snow.
|
  |
It was snowing a bit less on the road to our neighborhood...
the snow was rolling up the mountains, according to the
radio... it was already starting to stick, though... even on
the roadways. The NWS said "trace to 2 inches" during the
day, then from 6pm to 6am, they're predicting 2-4 inches...

 |
It didn't feel very much like Spring, but the roads sure
looked pretty! It just adds to the charm of place, and
gives us something interesting to look at when we look out
our living room window at the Ridge... there's a LOT of snow
up there!
