HE IS RISEN!About 1,975 years ago, Jesus rose from
the dead, and provided a way for us to get to heaven.
We celebrated that glorious event today, on the earliest
Easter morning service in more than 100 years... it'll be
another 200 years before its as early as it was this year.
On the way in, our music Pastor called me and asked if I
could do the slides... seems the plan they had fell apart.
I was heading in early anyway, because The Shadow Lady was
singing in one of the songs, so it worked out. I had a
lot of changes to make, so its a good thing I was there!

The service started with an excellent brass prelude... they
did a great job on several hymns... it was a VERY nice way
to start the day!The Choir led the first portion of the
service, and they did a wonderful job, also.

Pastor Greg's sermon, "A case for Christ" showed how Christ
- our risen Savior - works in our lives even today, and
challenged us to have enough evidence in our lives so that
we could be easily convicted if we were to be accused of
being a Christian. The worship at the end was led by the
Worship Team, which normally does the second service... the
Shadow Lady helped with one of the songs, "My Redeemer
Lives"...
After the service, there was a time of fellowship for
everyone to enjoy the fact that we serve a risen Lord... it
was a good morning.

After that, we came home, and started the preparations for
the Easter meal with the Family... nothing too fancy... ham,
potatoes, veggies, an awesome salad, rolls, and a great cake
for desert! We all kicked in, and it worked out GREAT!
It was a very good afternoon... and the little guy sure
soaked in all the attention! :)
Of course, he posed for a picture, once he noticed the
camera was getting ready...
