The Shadow Lady had a birthday recently, and we celebrated it with her family on Friday night... fun times!

First, Antie "M" came over and watched the little guy, while we went out - in Flame - to a 'new' (to us) restaurant in North Bend... it was VERY nice!  It essentially was our first 'date' since November... so it was nice to be out with just the two of us!

Earlier in the week, I'd gotten some candies, and made a little display...

XXX, "Roman" for 30, made with 30 candies... :-)

Not long after we got back, the rest of the family came over... I told everyone I'd avoid taking pictures of them, but then they sat next to each other, and were too good looking a couple for me to pass it up... :-)

 

After we visited for a bit, we broke out the cake... it was close, but the fire alarms didn't go off... :-) 

"All in one breath" gets harder every year, it seems... :-)  She did pretty good, though.

The cake was awesome!  It'd been quite a long time since I'd had one... Oreo Cookies and Cream - NICE!

After the treats, we went downstairs and watched the first few episodes of The Muppet Show!  :-)  It was a blast!

 
In between episodes, the shadow lady opened gifts... I missed something someplace, but this clock was a huge hit with everyone!  :)

It was fun spending an evening together as a big family... it seemed we all had a good time.

As we were piling out, The Shadow Lady snapped a shot of "The Two Jim's"... my and my father in-law have the same first name... :-)
