When I got up this morning, I noticed that there wasn't any new snow!  :-)  I went out to see if there was ice instead, and was very happy to find that there wasn't any of that either.

It seems Old Jack took the night off!

So, I used the opportunity to cut back the bank a bit, away from Slim, and cleaned the snow off... looks like I'm not stranded at home when the Shadow Lady goes to work any more!

I also cut the bank back up the driveway too... with all the snow, I'd lost a foot or so of driveway, so I got it back.

My Jeep, Flame, is in the shop.  Wiper motor, heater core, and a couple of other things need to be fixed... I should have it back shortly (only with no heat - a replacement is on order, and should be here the second week of February)

It was nice to be able to see both cars again.  :-)

 
The driveway is in GREAT shape... not a speck of ice or snow!

While I was out there cleaning up the edges, and the slush at the top of the driveway from the road debris, I heard my neighbors spinning their way out of their driveways, trying to head to work... no one shovels themselves out around here... I've helped get my neighbor across the street get out nearly every morning.

 
It rained, it seemed at some point in the night... the snow was beat down a bit... but the snow banks are still pretty respectable, if not a little black from road debris.

 
It was nice to have a morning off from snow duty! :-)
