2007.12.31 - New Year's at ITL

Just like last year, we ended the year in the Wishkah Valley, at "In the Light".  Its a final service of the year for the church that The Shadow Lady grew up in.  After the service, we play games, and visit with family and friends... its my third one, and I had a GREAT time!

We arrived just as things were about to get started...

First, of course, folks wanted to meet the little guy... it'd been a month or so since we'd been down there, and everyone said that he was a lot bigger...

The worship service was very well done!  I enjoy going down there for In the Light... I like how the song selections are always what I seem to need to hear at the time...

They, as usual, did a great job.  I enjoyed it very much.

The little guy helped out with the sound for a while... :)

He didn't mind the music at all... and spent most of the time looking around -- like he usually does when he's out and about.  He seems very curious about a lot of things.

The worship service lasted just over an hour -- it really seemed to go by very fast, if you asked me!

After the service, we enjoyed each other's company, and ate WAY too much food and sweets!

Shortly after that, everyone broke out games, and we had a great time visiting and enjoying each other's company.

It was a very fun time... lots of laughs, joking, and talking...

I kept my eye on the clock periodically... with everything going on, we could have easily missed it!

And, suddenly, it was 2008!

We used Verizon's time/date stamp as the "official time", because a phone with that carrier had seconds... we counted down the time, and welcomed in the New Year!

It was a great way to end a great year, and bring in one that (hopefully) will be even better!
