It was snowing a bit, so I took a quick walk out to the local park, to check out the lake, just in case I needed an excuse to get out in the snow!  :)

The view from the entrance to the little park was awesome! 

We REALLY live in a nice neighborhood!

The park sure looked different with all the snow!

The view from the lake was no less spectacular!

 
The water was mirror-smooth...

It was getting dark, so the pictures didn't do the scene justice, but you can get a good idea...

 
I lingered for a bit, then headed back home, happy for one more reason to be glad about living in such a nice place!

I didn't need it, but I was happy for it anyway!
