We awoke for Christmas like a couple of kids! :) Even
though he wont' really understand "Christmas" for a few
years yet... we were ready and raring to enjoy his first
Christmas! :-)
The Shadow Lady's Grandma was visiting with us, and we had a
great time visiting with her... its always a joy to visit
with her.
We spent the early morning together as a family, exchanging
our gifts for each other, reading Luke 2 after breakfast -
it IS the Reason for the Season, after all - and spent time
remembering Christmas times of the past... that's always a
fun thing!

Then, we went over to the Shadow Lady's Sisters' place,
which is in Seattle, for brunch.
Food and family... a winning combination every time!
:)
Just as we arrived in Seattle... Snow!
It was almost magical! For the Shadow Lady and her family,
it was their first White Christmas. For me, it was the
first one in a long, long time!
About an inch fell on the downtown before the snow turned
into rain... but while it lasted, it was VERY pretty to
watch!

The little guy enjoyed some time rocking with Grandpa... :)
|
 |
 |
After brunch, we visited some more, and exchanged gifts.
The little guy grabbed a corner of the paper of one of his
gifts, and helped his aunt open it... :-)
The little guy got a book with his name integrated into
it... a book I'm sure he's going to read a LOT in the next
few years I'm sure!
|
  |
There were gifts, but mostly it was the fun of being
together!
Afterwards, we watched a Jimmy Stewart movie... one that I
hadn't seen before, oddly enough. It was a fun time
|
 |
  |
 |
When we got home, we were glad to notice that the snow was
still around, and not only that... it was still snowing!
So, the little guy is batting 1000 on the White Christmas
Percentage... :-) Always a good thing.
