We had planned on going out to eat after the baby dedication... but folks weren't feeling well, so we went up to the pass, and went to the Family Pancake House... :-)

Only a couple of exits above our house, which ends up being only a few hundred feet higher than us, the winter conditions are in FULL swing!

Part of why I like going to the restaurant so much is the drive there... its AWESOME!

They've opened the ski lifts finally... with the weather being a mix of rain and snow, it wasn't packed, but there were quite a few people.

 
The scenery around the town of Summit in the winter is so spectacular that even the gas station looks good!

 
The snow is quite a bit deeper than it was only 10 days ago!

On the way back down, we passed some snow plows... its always interesting to watch these guys work.
