The Microsoft IT department that The Shadow Lady's team supports held a party at Vasa Park, which is on Lake Sammamish, near Issaquah. Anyway, families were invited as well, so I joined The Shadow Lady at the park and had a great time!

I noticed a guy who I think is the "Visual Studio" guy... his picture comes up when you install Visual Studio.

I'm not positive, but he LOOKS like the same guy, and MS apparently uses its own employees in its graphics...

They had food and pop spread out... hot dogs, beans, bbq'd pork... good stuff!

For the kids, they had several inflatable toys set up, one of the popular ones was the slip and slide on steroids... they got some speed going on that thing!

 
The hit of the day, though, was the "Dunk your boss" tank, which raised money for charity... some bosses had bigger lines than others, I noticed... :-)

 
It seemed some managers lined up to dunk others... :-)

 
She barely had time to get her hair out of her face, and it was back in the tank!  :)

It was lots of fun, and a fairly big crowd was assembled.

 
Some folks liked following the ducks better... I think this guy's a web programmer - they tend to be younger :-)

 

It was a fun way to end an afternoon, that's for sure!
