We heard a military chopper hovering near our house, so we looked out the windows, and noticed a UH-1 operated by the King County Sheriff hovering near the outcrop on Rattlesnake Ridge.

We thought at first that it was a continuation of activity we'd seen the night before, where several officers were in the area, seemingly looking for someone.

We found out later, though, that someone had fallen off the outcrop, and had been reported missing.

 
Pretty sobering... when we head up there, we'll surely remember to be careful.
