We walked though our house in North Bend, and decided that
before we moved our stuff in, we'd paint. We went to Home
Depot, and got some paint chips, and, before too long,
decided on our colors.
It wasn't too long after that that the painting began...
We went through a LOT of tape... you don't realize how many
corners, pieces of trim, and items that need to be
protected, until you start painting... There was A LOT
Then came the cutting...
Same thing... you REALLY get a feel for the size of the
area you're painting once you start doing it...
Dan, a friend of ours from our church, helped us paint...
I'm not sure he knew what all he was volunteering for, but
it would have taken MUCH longer without his help, that's for
sure!
I owe him one, now... :-)

The rolling rolling went pretty quickly, actually. The
toughest part was above the entry way... that's a WAYS up
there!
I managed to get it, but it'll be a while before we
change the color!
We painted the master bedroom a different color... it looks
white, but its a light green tint.my shirt, as you can
see, doubled as a rag.
The painting went along fairly quickly. It took 3 days
to get it all painted and recoated, but it wasn't too bad.
The accent wall was last... it was a nice thing to see!
Then, it was pulling tape, and putting the covers back on.
It came together nice... I wasn't a big fan of the color at
first, but now that its on, I think it looks pretty good
The kitchen was a fun spot to paint.
The Shadow Lady did the trim... it looks nice!
Once I put the cans back in, it was officially done - for
now.We might tackle the bathroom and computer room, but
that will be later. Round 1 is done.
So, now we can move the rest of our stuff in.That will
happen this week... busy times!
