No-orth Bend is the place to be
Quiet living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Mercer Island,
just give me that countryside.OK, so the folks at Green
Acres aren't impressed... :-) But I really do love it
here in North Bend! Today, I was treated to my first
"Mostly Foggy" day, and I really enjoyed it! What a
great place to live!

 |
Foggy Trees... there's just something about watching fog
roll through the trees on a hill side that keeps my
attention!I really like how the trees seem to melt away
in the fog, blending into the background... the camera
doesn't do it justice, but hopefully, you get the idea.
|
The filtered Sunlight warms these trees just enough so that
the moisture rises out of them in a quiet tide of wispy
water. This has the same effect on me as watching the
waves come and go on a rocky shoreline... its so peaceful
and serene, I could watch it all day!

 |
The underbellies of the clouds scrape along the top of Mt
Si, above North Bend. Smaller clouds drift in and out
of the trees on its slopes in a quiet dance.
|
Here's another "trees in the fog" scene.
Except for the rare car, the only noise you hear are the
birds singing happily away...
What a nice day!

The large outcrop at the top of Rattlesnake Ridge, which on
a clear day is a prominent part of the view out of our front
window, is only a faint outline in the foggy lower edges of
the clouds...Its so peaceful!
