2007.01.14 - A Sunset in Seattle
< Back to Currently

The Shadow Lady and I went for a drive to see the sunset on a clear evening, and were NOT disappointed!
The view from Queen Anne Hill is nothing short of spectacular!

In the waning light, the blue globe of the Seattle P-I, and its "Its in the P-I!" rotating message shines brightly.
This icon of Seattle is the source of the globe for Superman's Daily Planet.

When the Mountain is out... its an incredible sight!

Seattle, known for its rain, can be quite picturesque at times!

Out in Elliott Bay, ships wait to head in to the port to exchange their loads... the lights made for a great view in the dim light.

The Olympic Mountains made for a skyline that far outdates the one that Seattle sports...

We watched the stars come out for a while, then we left for home.  It was a great way to end a day!
