2007.01.01 - Welcoming the New Year |

The Shadow Lady and I went to down by the 'kaw to celebrate the arrival of the new year with Family and Friends.
The Shadow Lady got
me a cool GPS device, and the "Streets and Trips 2007" program to go with it for
Christmas... so on the way down, I tested it out using my mobile pc... VERY COOL!

bit of a show as I was driving down...

Years Eve fell on 'In the Light Sunday'... Some
of the 'regulars' on ITL were out of town, so Kasie helped out... she did a great
job! |
After In The Light, we piled in the back of the church,
and broke out the games, snacks, and pop, and visited with each other and enjoyed
each other's company.

Kasie and I played a gruelling game of checkers...
were it not for a brief oversight on Kasie's part... the outcome might not have
made it to the website! :-) |
I had gotten the 'official' time from the Atomic Clock,
but when I was ringing out the time, everyone would look at the clock on the wall,
so Mike went ahead and updated the clock.
