ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?
The Shadow Lady had to work late, so my friend Les and I went to
Monday Night Football at Qwest Field, for a game against the Raiders.
It had been a sunny day, but as we were heading into the stadium, and
climbing "Mt Qwest" to my seats, I had this view of the clouds closing
in on the Seattle Skyline. The game wasn't one for the record
books, but I had a GREAT time anyway - is there any better way to spend
a Monday?

The Seahawk brought out the team... its an impressive site!
|
The usual fanfare bringing out the team was a bit upgraded for the
Monday Night Cameras... impressive!

 |
Warren Moon, a long-time great at Seattle, raised the 12th Man Flag
to a host of cheers.
|
The Hawks didn't really come to play. Luckily, the Raiders
aren't that good, so it wasn't much of an issue, but it was a bit
frustrating at times.

 |
The second half, the wind howled, and the rain made for a wet game.
The 12th man flag flexed in the wind, but held up just fine.
|
My seats are on the very back row of the stadium, and unfortunately,
they're right next to this opening... the screening blocked most of it,
but I did get some of the wind and rain... enough to make it feel 'real'
:-)

 |
The Raiders should have never been in the game, but sloppy play by
the Seahawks made it a fairly close game...
In all, it was a fun time! Now, I'm already ready for the next
game!
