The Red Sox came to town, and we managed to fit in one of the games... we had to give a set  of tickets we had this for their visit away to friends of ours at church... too many things on the schedule!  We had a good time at the game - an excellent change of pace, and a great oppotunity to just enjoy the many varied benefits of the game of baseball!

Now THAT's a DOG!

We swung through the little shops on Occidental, and stopped at one of our favorite places to go... Joe's Grilled Gourmet Dogs -- the guy who yells "Hot Dogs, Mariner Dogs, Buhner Dogs, Edgar Dogs, the half-pound Home Run Dogs... would you LOOK at the size of this one?!?"

It was GOOD too!  Hot mustard, Relish, Onions... yeah, makes your mouth water, doesn't it???

Papi walks out of the cage after wowing the crowd with some INCREDIBLE blasts!

That guy can SWING!

Going over the house rules... and probably discussing how miserable the lines look... they were crooked! 

Its sad... it used to be so well done, but this year, its really been sorry.

Here comes the pitch to Papi.

This guy was in front of us in line, waiting for cotton candy and those little ice cream dot thingers... I ended up passing on the dots, but the cotton candy was WICKED GOOD!

When the Red Sox come to town, its tough, but we manage... she has the bigger smile, so I guess you know who's winning the game. :-)

The Mariners actually swept the weekend, further dimming the hope for a glorious end to the season...

It was a great game, even though the BoSox lost... it was an incredible sunset, and the weather was PERFECT for baseball...

You don't get many nights better than that...
