We took a short detour on the way home from a hike to check out Snoqualmie
Falls, the third highest falls in the USA - they're actually higher than
the falls at Niagara, but there's far less water going over them. The flow is actually a bit heavier than 'normal'... its been very warm in the upper levels of the atmosphere, which is causing increased snowmelt in the mountains, which is increasing the runoff feeding the river.

The falls make for a VERY interesting stop on the way home... we come here quite a bit. Its one of those places where each time you go, you see something different. | |||||||
