Jerry, a buddy of mine at work, coaches a baseball team down in Tacoma.
He's done it for a few years now, and the team, which includes his two
boys, really has come together over the years, and they play better than
most their age... He invited us down to watch a game, so we went down
to pick up a Saturday game. |

It was was a great day for baseball... but then what day isn't??? |
 |
I thought that it was funny that the umpire had a Starbucks coffee in his
hand... he called a good game, though, which had to be tough... its a
small strike zone! |

|
The Sluggers lived up to their name, and quickly pulled ahead...
It was fun watching Jerry coach... he seemed to really enjoy it!

 |
The Sluggers won the game... but more importantly, Jerry made sure that
everyone had a good time. |
