We went down to Tacoma Community College, to watch the Shadow Lady's
friend play in a volleyball tournament. Several volleyball clubs
from around the region assemble on Sundays to play... we were looking
for something to do, and she invited us to come watch her team play.
They won through to the semi-finals round before we showed up... we got
there in time for the semi final's game, against "T-mobile Moxie", a
sponsored team. |

During the warm ups, it looked like the T-Mobile team was pretty good...
Once the game got underway, the lighting made it difficult to get
good pictures... |

They hung in there, but the T-Mobile team was a bit stronger on blocking,
which gave them a significant advantage - its hard to put it past 6
arms... It was still fun, though... and there were some awesome
volleys... we'll be back to watch another round before too long, I'm
sure! |
