The waters of the Nisqually River have spilled out of its banks, and the
valley leading into the river's delta is now a big lake...
The ducks are loving it -- there's lots more food as insects and worms are caught with no place to go, and are easy pickings... |

My "Jack Ball" is smiling, but the Washington DOT isn'... the water is
softening the roadbed to the highway road bed, and they're dealing with
slides in the region... This is the highest I remember seeing the Nisqually... with more rain on the way, it seems like it'll only get worse... |
