Its been raining here in the Pacific North West. I can almost hear
you saying, "Duh, It's winter in the North West... what'd you
expect?" Well, that's true enough... but normally, its drizzly,
misty, and gray, with a shower of "real" rain thrown in now and again.
But this year, at least these last few weeks, its been outright RAIN
coming down... that's a bit different for us. Anyway, the Shadow Lady
and I took advantage of a break in the liquid sunshine, and went for a
walk after grabbing a sandwich at Subway.
We came across a new piece of art - a PI symbol, named "PI in the sky
III". |

The Sammamish Slough, actually a river joining Lake Sammamish to Lake
Washington, is running high, and has started over washing the lower
areas of the park, such as this landing, which provided a fun
distraction...
We're due for rain pretty much steady for the next 10 days or more...
so this might be more common a sight... |
