On an obscure Saturday, Symetra Financial sponsored the day's events on a
KCTS (Public Television) "Begathon".
About 60 Symetra employees manned the phones for a night in the studio, raising money for the station. I took a TON of calls, and personally took in $7,200... |

We ended up raising about 260,000+ dollars... which was the
second most for a single night at KCTS... they said we did a
good job. Yep, that's me on the phone... I do know one thing... it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be! |
