While working on a project for work in the middle of the night, the sounds
of the rain changed, so I went to take a look, and was surprised to see
actual hail... it was about the size of a pea -- not overly huge, but
still pretty odd for this area. It only lasted a few minutes, but quite a bit of hail fell... it was pretty surprising, and a welcome break from what I was doing! |

The ground was quickly covered by a layer of white pebbles...
they were quickly melted away, though, by the rain that
followed... If you don't recognize the surroundings, its because I'm renting a room out from a coworker up in Redmond... |
