I took off for the Pacific Science Center, mostly to see the IMAX 3D
version of "Polar Express"...
I left in the early morning light... it was nearly a full moon, and
with the clear night, it got pretty cold! There was a lot of frost
on the grass, an on my truck... and of course, as soon as I got close
to the Nisqually River vally, the fog was set in pretty thick. |

On the way to Seattle, I saw a pretty interesting contrail...
it was pretty weird! Also, there was a cool shadow cast by
a cloud... |
I got to the Seattle Center without incident, and since I had some time, I
of course stopped by McDonald's... I couldn't resist the urge to take a picture of the
ultra-ugly Experience Music Project Building... in case you were
wondering, its a music museum. |

Seeing the Space Needle, though, is always a nice experience! |
After a short wait, w herded inside the IMAX building, and
made out way to the theater for the movie. I
paused along the way to check out Howard, the Projector. I
didn't realize how big the film was... the rolls are HUGE! |
On the way out of the movie, which was great, I noticed a neat shot of the
Space Needle through a sun roof in the Theater...
Since it was so close, I went
to the Pacific Science Center's Butterfly House... |

With the cooler temperatures, the Bee Hive is pretty dormant,
but there was a bit of activity in the egg cell area, and
around the queen... |

As usual, the butterflies were awesome! |
