It was on the banks of these falls that the Simmons party first settled the
Puget Sound Area. The Tumwater Brewery, back when it was brewing Olympia Beer, built a very picturesque walking trail, both for its employees to take a break, and for the community to enjoy... the brewery is now a water bottling plant, but the trail is no less picturesque. We've been having a bit of rain, so the sunshine was pretty nice, and I managed to take advantage of it |

Its not a long walk, but its quite pleasant, and this time of
year, you sometimes get a hint of salmon... with the rain
we've been having, they're running a bit earlier than
normal... The scenery of the stream and its banks is quite stunning! |
