We have had some incredible weather these last few days...
Not typically associated with the Puget Sound region, March really has set in with some VERY nice days... sunny, warm, and VERY spring-like... its been NICE! These shots came from the Tower Cam on Queen Anne Hill, set up by KIRO TV for use during their weather reports. |

The last couple of days, the sunrise was pretty impressive... The low fog over the sound in the morning really set the scene... | |

As the morning went on, it got nicer and nicer... So I kicked off a script
that saved the picture every 10 minutes - The same one I used last year to
do the "EagleCam" pics. At about 9AM, there was a fire in the downtown area |

Around noon or so, the haze burned off and the sky started turning blue...the day seemed to be settling into a nice, sunny, warm day. The sky was a bit hazy, still, ut it seemed like it was going to be a pretty nice day. Mt Rainier slowly came to be visible, too. |

It just kept getting better and better as the morning progressed... March usually lives up to its "In like a lion..." reputation... but not so far this year, that's for sure!
