2004.01.06 - A good amount of snow |

For the fourth time since Christmas, Olympia is getting snow... this time,
though, its quite a bit. It also stayed cold, and the snow we
got last time was still on the ground.
We ended up with about a foot or so... Respectable, even for the New
Englanders in my family! |

There was enough snow so that I had to shovel the driveway, even... first
time since I moved up to the Puget Sound Area!
Everything pretty much was shut down in town... a few people drove
around, but the road was pretty dead for the most part. |

I picked up some inner tubes the day before... and after work, we built a
ramp on the corner of the storm drain containment well for the
neighborhood, and went tubing...
Yep, that's me about to bite it! |

The whole neighborhood was sledding... snow doesn't come often here in
the Pacific Northwest, and when it does, people take advantage of it! |
