Bringing it back! I stopped doing the "Currently" pages, because it
didn't seem that they were being viewed that much by my family... but
they let me know that I wasn't updating them, so here they are again...

I took a ferry ride while waiting for New Year's to get here. Here
is the last light rays of 2000.

I got a new camera for Christmas. This is my first trip with it.
Snoqualmie falls are pretty impressive!

| 2000.09 - Visited Florida | |
|
I went to Florida to see Ray and Terry! It was FUN! It was
real hot, too, though! Uncle Ray and Aunt Germane Ray and family Terry and John... ... and kids We went to an alligator farm that was COOL The feeding was pretty awesome! NASA was COOL!

| 2000.08 - staying on at SAFECO. | |

I guess they like me... my contract at SAFECO got extended. Not
going to Boeing after all. I'm not on a specific project, so its just
a "time and materials" job. Works for me, I guess! |

I went to Reno for a conference, and had some fun, too
Too funny! It was big, but there wasn't anything in it except dry ice... honest.
The Flamingo casino was smaller than I thought I stayed in the Silver Legacy. It has been a hotel since 1895, and it had some card tables back then, and it just kept growing into a casino.... it was a nice hotel, too.
THIS is the cool part of Reno - the history! This mine was opened in 1861, and hauled out about 5 tons of silver in its day
In Virginia City, these water pipes were replaced by the ones in use now
The silver mines are much more complex than I imagined them to be

| 2000.04 - Red Sox Baseball | |

The Red Sox came to Seattle, so I HAD to go! I managed to get in on
two games. SAFECO Field is so cool!
The Pitcher was awesome! Even A-Rod had trouble

| 2000.04 - coin show | |

I went to a coin show in Tacoma. Fun stuff. I also used the
new macro attachment on my camera, for getting up close. Pretty
cool, I think. When it was built, it was the largest
wooden dome in the world. I'm not sure if it still is or not...
but its cool! At least we knew where we were going
There were LOTS of people there! I had fun looking at all the coins they had for sale... couldn't afford any, but it was still fun looking
The macro attachment works pretty good, I think
This is the capital building in Olympia, which is the state capital.

Things are going well here at SAFECO. LINC is being expanded into a
full product quoting tool, and it has a new name... "SNOW". I'm
doing a "Snow Job", and they like it! :-) My office is
struggling to get messy...
